sometimes playing with the camera and being in front of rather than behind it, helps me to notice details about myself that I usually can’t see.

hello sweden, goodbye sweden

maybe one day I will be wise enough to just be there, without the comparing and without the expecting.

or maybe not. anyhow, in my mind it is always like a living fairytale.

waiting with shuli

she is so sweet and warm that for a moment I did not feel the cold, rough wind.

and she became the bridge between my two very different but beautiful worlds.

light on

sunlight, contrast and shadows, mud work and cardamom coffee, a sore throat, a messy house, and suitcase almost packed, a never ending to-do list, an unexpected visit, a womens sauna session just before midnight, a moon about to be full, a wish to do more single-tasking.

hugs to you!

july~working in france, so happy to be dancing again, and sweet-swedish-summertime.

august~swimming in lakes, ridiculous amounts of wine and strawberries *in israel strawberry season is about now btw.

september~dog friends and female friends

october~practicing lots of baking and lots of mud-plastering

november~rediscovering suspenders, meeting E.T

december~the prickly heart of a small scale baker…

2014-I am curious about you, what you will bring, what you are planning for me. I am looking forward to spending more time in europe, and to be dancing again. I hope I will stay open and trustful.

looking back

januray~it snowed, even the dogs were excited and I met my parents in jordan

february~travelled to europe and got nostalgic

march~spending much time with my friends son. wild-camping in the desert.

april~sneaking into an old, abandoned bathhouse and photographing strangers with a humble face on the bus

may~waiting for the bus and enjoying the company of my parents, the sweetest company you can imagine.

june~hours of growing my patience and skills as a babysitter and baker

2013 was a year full of community, hands-on work, earning less money but growing so much more. to be continued.
