a rose is a rose is a rose

 _MG_9148

i remember feeling so happy catching this moment in the subway in berlin quite some years ago.i think i just bought the postcard on some flea market. another trip down memory lane, going through all the photos i took before i had a digital camera. it makes me want to go back to photographing with film again. the shades and the colors are so different. wishing you a sweet sunday.

(you might have understood by now that i do not own a scanner)

Hej Sara,

Nu gaan we naar Göteborg maar we zijn al een beetje overal geweest ;-)
Ik begrijp je keuze bij het fotograferen met film,ik doe het af en toe nog met de Diana mini( LOM0)

Dear photo taking Sara,
its a fantastic photo... it becomes something surreal with the different levels.
This picture-in-picture as you say rose is rose is rose reminds me of Gertrude Stein.(BTW did you seen 'Midnight in Paris'?)
Looking at my tons of analog photos I miss this special effect of grainy pictures and this special soft tone. I save money for a negative scanner...

Wish you a glücklichen Sunday
my pondering friend.
Love,
Ariane.

I like how colours change with time, that doesn't happen with digital pictures.
And I miss that catching the right moment and have it forever, new cameras don't make it that special.
Big kisses Sara, I love your pictures, you know it!

Hej och hallå! Jag älskar också vintern, verkligen. Hoppas att minusgraderna blir kvar ett tag till så att barnen kan använda snön på sportlovet. Jag blir hemma imorgon för att barnen och mannen är sjuk. Kramar!
